ProScape spent two decades earning trust across Ohio. As they pushed into only commercial work, GC Strategies came alongside them to rebuild the marketing strategy, strengthen the brand story, coach the team, and set up a scalable operating system to grow on.
Rooted in Marion and Columbus, ProScape provides commercial landscape maintenance, landscape construction, and snow and ice management.
As they pushed into only commercial work and eliminated residential, the focus areas needed to change. To be successful, there had to be total focus around the needs and pain points of their buyers and the purchasing process. With key audiences such as busy property managers and general construction, the messaging and content distribution had to be precise in order to be effective.
Reaching property managers who expect polish, proof, and process, an audience their marketing was not fully tailored to as a result of also previously offering residential services.
Marketing was spread thin with a limited framework, and leadership did not have the margin, time and resources to fully support as needed.
Would a fractional CMO bulldoze the internal team, or be able to fully engage with the other folks in the organization that knew the business and customers the best?
From residential roots to a commercial-grade marketing engine, without losing what made ProScape, ProScape.
GC Strategies came in to empower the team, not replace it, and to give leadership a marketing engine they could trust without having to run it themselves.
A brand and messaging framework built for property managers, focused on saving them time, reducing risk, and protecting property value year-round.
A refreshed brand and website, an ongoing content and campaign cadence, a working video library, and a standout direct-mail piece, plus a weekly rhythm that let the internal team's creativity shine.
ProScape brand video, the ProScape Services overview, and a customer testimonial (Link Property), plus a new website at proscape-services.com.
Branded project-highlight decks the team can show prospects in real time, exactly the kind of tool Courtney points to below.

For high-value commercial targets, generic mail gets ignored. So, GC Strategies created something a busy property manager would actually open: a printed video brochure, “Landscapes Rooted in Trust,” with a real screen built in.
Each piece played two videos: the Why ProScape story, and a custom video addressed to the specific recipient. It carried the brand, the message, the Ohio footprint, and a clear next step (QR code), all in something you can hold.

Leadership got a marketing engine they could trust. Sales got the language and tools to pitch commercial clients with confidence. The internal team got a framework and a rhythm that made their work better, not redundant. ProScape grew up its marketing without trading away its people or its culture. The results have been better brand awareness, increased customer engagement and steady positive reviews and sales growth.

“We aren't quite big enough to support a full-time marketing person, and GC Strategies came in and solved that problem for us. Now we have clarity around who's supposed to be doing what and when.”Derek Stone · General Manager, ProScape
“The tools that have made the biggest difference for me are the videos and the sales decks. I can show those to clients in real time and really showcase what we're doing, rather than just talking through it.”Courtney Long · Sales, ProScape
